I completed the Gold Eagle Capital Limited transaction with American Re Securities Corporation. This was an offering of index-linked notes that transferred hundreds of millions of dollars of risk from a major reinsurance company to investors. Investors, in turn, received a risk premium that compared favorably with other securities bearing comparable risk.
